3. Create Characteristics
A) Char: R1T_COLOUR
Values:- 1. GREY 2. BLUE
B) Char:- R1T_WHEEL
Values:- 1. STEEL 2. ALLOY
4. Create Class
A)Class:- CLASS_R1T Class Type:- 300
B) Assign characteristics to Class
5. Assign Class with class type 300 to Configurable Material
6. Put Object Dependency to HALB material
7. Create Configurable Profile of KMAT material CU41
8. Simulation Run CU50
A) Input: Char:
R1T COLOUR Value: GREY
Char: R1T WHEEL Value: STEEL
9. Result
Here in result, system selects non-variable material (i.e. ROH001) and variable materials those have Object dependency Color: GREY & Wheel: STEEL
10. Create Material Variant
A) MV_1 with characteristics value assignment
R1T_COLOUR GREY R1T_WHEEL STEEL
B) MV_2 with characteristics value assignment
R1T_COLOUR BLUE R1T_WHEEL ALLOY
11. Create link to KMAT material (CS40) and Explode BOM of Material Variants.
